The EGY3.0 Project started as of January 01, 2011. We will be focusing on a small section of the Cairo governorate to start with as a pilot project.

EGY3.0 Project... Announcing Phase 01

In January 01, 2011 I announced the EGY3.0 Project. It is a development project that will be based on the public contribution. On February 01, 2011 we will be starting Phase 01 of the project by building a "pilot" Digital Routable Map (routable up to the parcel level) for a small section in the Cairo Governorate. This "pilot" part once completed successfully we will expand it to cover the whole Cairo Governorate.
Currently we are working towards building a web application to show you the progress of our work. This is going to take sometime so please be patient! For the moment I will be posting our progress as a Google Earth KMZ file that is going to be updated once a month.
There is a way for everyone to contribute...You do not need to be an expert of any kind to help us!
